The idea for ManCave City came in 2010, when our founder was traveling in Turkey and stumbled upon a wine shop that was set up in the dark basement of the ruins of an old church. The space was large, with stone walls and cool, earthy smells. We sat on antique furniture and tried a few bottles of wine, never wanting to leave.

I thought, “Hey, I want this in my house.”

Unfortunately, 1,000 year old ruined churches with stone basements are hard to come by, and they don’t sell them at the mall.

Fortunately, no one needs one. What we really need is a space to call our own. We need a room (or two) that fits in with our interests and gives us a place to relax and unwind.

That’s the idea behind ManCave City.
